Steady work, confirmed rates and pay that does not wait for net-30.
SOS Roadside dispatches roadside, tow, mechanical and transport work to independent operators across the country. We are looking for companies that answer the phone, give an honest ETA and finish the paperwork.
You know what the job pays before you accept it
Roadside work has a reputation for slow pay and surprise chargebacks. Our model is built to remove both.
- At dispatch
Rate Confirmed
The dispatcher offers the job with the service, location, destination and rate. You accept or decline. Nothing is renegotiated on scene.
- At assignment
Job Card Issued
A single-use virtual card is issued for the job in the agreed amount, so the funds are set aside before you leave the yard.
- On completion
Paperwork Closes The Job
Signed work order and photos uploaded from the scene. The job moves to completed and the card is released for charge.
- After
One Record Per Job
Rate, authorization, photos, work order and payment on one ticket. Questions go to the dispatcher who assigned it, not a ticket queue.
Requirements to join
Documents are uploaded through the application and reviewed by our onboarding team.
- Commercial auto and on-hook or garage keepers coverage meeting our minimums, with SOS Roadside listed as certificate holder on activation.
- Current registration for each unit you will dispatch under the program.
- W-9 in the name of the paid entity.
- Equipment list by unit: flatbed, wheel-lift, heavy wrecker, service truck, tire truck, landoll.
- Service area and hours, including after-hours availability if offered.
- Driver background check on file for operators who will attend scenes.
- USDOT number, where applicable, verified against federal records.
Work We Dispatch To Providers
What keeps a provider in the network
Four things, measured on every job. Providers who consistently deliver get more volume. Providers who no-show, pad invoices or leave scenes undocumented are removed, with the reason recorded.
Answer
Accept or decline within minutes so the dispatcher can move on if you are busy.
Honest ETA
Give the real number. A true 70 minutes beats a false 40 every time.
On-Scene Conduct
Identify yourself, treat the driver well, photograph before and after.
Paperwork
Signed work order and photos uploaded before you leave the scene.
